Administration-I
This Section deals with the matters concerning Officers in BS-16 and above and also responsible to maintain their service record & personal files. The following other matters are also dealt by this section: -
- Disciplinary Proceedings against the Officers
- Inter-Directorate transfer/postings
- Promotion Cases of officers from BS-16 & 17
- Maintenance of seniority list relating to Directors / ETOs/AETOs.
- Move over cases of officers from BS-16 & 17
- Perusal of Litigation relating to the gazette Officers
Administration-II
This Section deals with the matters concerning Officers from BS-16 and above and also responsible to maintain their service record & personal files. The following other matters are also dealt by this section: -
- Disciplinary Proceedings.
- Inter-Directorate transfer/postings.
- Promotion Move over.
- Maintenance of seniority list.
- Perusal of Litigation etc.
Taxes Section
This Section headed by an Excise and Taxation officer deal with The following matters:-
- Record and Collection of various Taxes.
- Appeal cases other than Excise Enactment.
- Court Cases against the Excise and Taxation Department
- Distribution of Tax Targets.
- Exemption Cases pertaining to Motor Vehicle Tax, Property Tax, Entertainment Duty, Infrastructure etc.
- Taxation Proposals and Amendments pertaining to taxes/fees/ Cess collected by the Excise and Taxation Department.
- Outstanding Dues.
- Performance Evaluation vis-a-vis target and collection
- IPCC matters
Excise Section
This Section headed by an Excise and Taxation officer deal with The following matters:-
- Court Cases pertaining to Excise Crime & Wine Shops.
- Arrangements of narcotics Meeting.
- Record of Monthly detection of Drugs.
- Appeal relating to cancellation/suspension of licenses of liquor and wine shops.
- Complaints against the illegal sale of liquor.
- All matter relating to excise activities.
- Malkhanas.
Budget and Accounts Section
- Distribution of Budget amongst all the regional Directorates according to their requirements.
- Reconciliation of Revenues/Receipts
- Reconciliation of KESC/WAPDA/HEPCO/PTCL Dues.
- Audit Paras/Draft Paras/DAC meeting/PAC
- Audit and Inspection Report.
- Budget Calendar i.e sanction of funds
- Budget Receipts (Revenue + Comparative statement of demand).
- List of Excess & Surrender,S.N.E
- Proposals of temporilary and permanent posts.
- Reconciliation of Expenditures of Telephone, Post and others things.
- Annual Development Programme.
- Payment/rent of offices housed in private buildings.
- Accommodations of offices and other related.
- Awarding of contracts relating to Number Plates, Registration Books and Tax Token Stickers for vehicles.
- Press Advertisements
- Financial Control and Discipline.
General Section
- Assembly questions/Business.
- All Directives i.e President, Prime Minister, Governor, Chief Minister.
- Establishment matter of Secretariat Staff.
- Arrangement of all meeting including Cabinet Meeting, Monthly review meeting etc.
- Matters pertaining to D.D.O.
- Matters relating to devolution process.
- Repair and maintenance of Excise and Taxation Departments Offices in Secretariat.
